Meet the Staff

I was born in Suffield Road, High Wycombe. When I left school I worked for the well known Ironmonger’s called ‘Georges’ in Frogmore in the late 1950’s, where I learnt to cut keys by hand. In the early 1960’s tragedy struck - a serious motorbike accident in which I suffered with serious brain damage. I was then classed as a green card worker.

After a few years at home with no job, I was asked by a relative if I could cut a key for her, and from then on I started Locksmithing. Then High Wycombe District Council gave me permission to work from the shed in my parents back garden. I have eternal thanks for Mum and Dad, especially my father, who at the end of a days work, would remove the back seat of his car for me to use for carrying my tools so we could fit locks in the evenings and weekends.

Later I purchased a house in West Wycombe Road where I worked in the basement, and from then on the business started to grow. At the time I became a Member of the Master Locksmiths Association in London, followed by courses in American Locksmithing.

I am now celebrating 50 years as a locksmith and would like to thank all our customers, past & present.

	Tracey (our niece), Has been with us for eight years. She sent three years in the office, learning the business side, two years working in the workshop and shop serving customers and three years as a locksmith outside. Tracey thoroughly enjoys all aspects of her job and is now ready to become a Master Locksmith.

	Jane (our niece), Also has been with us for eight years. Starting in the shop, Jane is now our shop manager and deals with all aspects of the day to day running of the business. Jane has a lovely rapport with the shop customers and on the phone. Jane also takes care of ordering the stock.
